Twelve members and one guest signed on to fish the match which made
thirteen competitors, which is unlucky for some but not for Connor Hallett

of them, in all 283 fish were caught on the day with all being put back
alive. Most of the fish were whiting but some pollock, flounder, wrasse,
shanny and bass were also caught. Tiny arrived for the last hour; bringing

both days.
Fifteen members fished the two day annual match at Charmouth.

of 2 kg 840 g which along with six pout placed him first on the day. On
Sunday the competitors returned to Charmouth with all to play for. as on
Saturday a bass was caught this time by Cliff Rooney, this one weighed 3 lb.

Eight members signed on to fish the first Andy Neal Rover of
2008. Most of the competitors chose to fish the piers at West Bay or
Weymouth, due to the heavy sea that was running up the beaches. Paul Daw in
his first ever club match chose to fish east beach and managed to catch the
only dogfish of the night, this won him the pool for heaviest fish. Best
