Junior Presentation

JUNIOR PRESENTATION 2011

This years Junior presentation took place on 5th November. R Guppy (Hoot) opened the proceedings by thanking all those that have helped, donated and sponsored prizes throughout the year. Fred Bowditch the clubs president then took the floor to thank Hoot for all his hard work with the junior section. This year has seen a good attendance by members new and old , we have also had a few girls join the junior section and fish the matches which is good to see.

Ellis McCullagh			THE FORWARD TROPHY (presented to the most promising junior)
Ellis fished eleven of sixteen matches and managed to weigh fish in in all but one. This year he came third in both the points and weights which is a great improvement on last year where he came twelfth in the points and sixth in the weights.

This Years Stats: We fished 16 matches, only 2 juniors managed to fish them all. The lowest attendance was 5 and the highest 14, average attendance 9.6. The heaviest weight caught in a single match by a junior was 2 kg 120 g by Connor Hallett on 24^th September, total weight caught over the sixteen matches was 20 kg 753 g which was less than last year.
